Leeds United Win a Cup-tie

An accident marred the concluding stages of the West Riding Senior Cup-tie at Valley Parade last evening between Bradford City and Leeds United. Peter Donaghy, the new City centre forward, ran on to a pass from McKinney, and Whalley, the Leeds gopalkeeper, came out to the ball simultaneously. The pair met and Donaghy fell to the ground with his collar bone broken.

Leeds United won 3-1, Kilborn scoring for Bradford and Powell (2) and Lambert for Leeds United. The attendance was 3,880, and the receipts £224.
